I recently made a comment on my facebook status that went something like this:
“Why is it that Christians start talking about God being in control, only when their party isn’t?”

I wrote this several weeks ago. My grandpa died shortly after I wrote it. He’s in heaven. I’m not. It makes me sad.

Thanks for this. My uncle died a couple of weeks ago. He’s a believer, but it still makes me sad not to have him here. Reminds me of that song “Homesick.” ((hugs))

beautifully put Aanna. I always feel a jealousy and longing when I look at the “jar of clay” of a believer who is at that moment in the presence of God. I am reading the book “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn. It is so good to meditate on reality after death in this life and what God really wanted for us. Grandma still weeps and so do I, we miss him,
